Location Description: Welcome to the Hot Springs (South Dakota) KOA Campground! We are located at the gateway to the beautiful Black Hills. We are your base camp headquarters for a perfect Black Hills visit. Camp under shady ponderosa pines in a mountain setting. Our campground is located on SD Highway 79, approximately 50 miles south of Rapid City, SD and 50 miles north of Chadron, NE. Stay with us while you explore Wind Cave National Park, Custer State Park Wildlife Loop, the Mammoth Site, Even's Plunge, Windcross Conservancy, the Wild Horse Sanctuary, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial plus all the other attractions found in the Black Hills. Our friendly staff can help you with maps and information on the Black Hills and things to see and do. The campground features every amenity that you could need while camping! Clean bathrooms, 24-hour laundry, a stocked camp store/gift shop, a cozy recreation room and our large heated swimming pool during the summer.
