It is near numerous lakes and only two miles from Gunnison Bend Reservoir, which offers bass fishing, swimming, boating, and a beach. If rock hounding is your passion, this area will thrill you with Garnets, Topaz, Apache tears, Red Beryl, and Trilobites.
