Location Description: Foley Oaks RV Resort is a friendly up-scale RV park in a quiet rural area of Baldwin County conveniently located in the city of Foley, Alabama. We're just a mile off the main beach access road on a little county road surrounded by some of the areas biggest sod farms. We love it here and we think you will too!,Our resort gets its namesake from a dozen huge 100 year old oaks on the property. It's a wonderful place to sit in the shade and enjoy life. Once there, we believe you'll understand why it's considered the crown jewel of the park. Foley Oaks sits on what was a working cattle pasture for most of its established history - it's just 5 miles north of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach and 2 miles east of Bon Secour Bay. The southeastern tip of the state is known for its historic pecan groves, sod farms, and beautiful beaches. Foley Oaks is just a short drive from many of the best local area attractions and landmarks, but you won't have to leave the park for some of the best sunsets in Alabama.,In addition to RV sites, we also offer primitive camping spots complete with campfire rings, marshmallow roasts, and ghost stories - perfect for hosting short-term visitors during your stay at the park. Our RV sites have beautifully landscaped grass yards, and a 10'x40' concrete pads to park even the largest RVs. They each have an attached 8'x12' patio area which is great for outside activities like grilling or picnicking. Each pad has 30/50 amp electrical hookups, well-water connections and sewer hose attachments. We have a laundry facility, a shower house, and a recreation room which doubles as an internet cafe. The rec room is equipped with a kitchen and TV perfect for shared moments like Iron Bowl parties, Super Bowl celebrations, crawfish boils, or cookouts with other Foley Oaks campers.,The treehouse/playground is sure to keep the littlest family member's imagination busy and our dog walk will be every dog's delight. The walking trail emcompasses our property and will be a good place to start or finish your day - it has benches scattered along the way for convenient "parking places" to enjoy the scenery. If you're the type of person that likes keeping a garden then you'll love our community garden area. With several large raised beds, gloves and all the tools you'll need, we'll make gardening fun again! You'll have a chance to volunteer some spare time in the garden and reap the fruits of your labor come harvest time. We grew up farming and hope to plant some seeds, share some herbs and vegetables, and share just maybe a little insight about small farming with the community again.
